*Please read before suggesting a fave or submitting artwork!!*
Admission should be completely open, anyone can join!
Please note, if you start spamming us with declined requests persistently, breaking rules or causing havoc you will be blocked. Thank you for understanding.
Fair warning: the admins at this site have, sadly, found it difficult to keep up with the submissions. We are sorry we haven't been more active, and thank you for all your submissions, but we may not get to them in time. Please do not feel bad about this. It's not personal, just a sad fact that we don't have enough time. Once again, sorry for any abandoned submissions.
*THE IMPORTANT BIT!*
Firstly please read the rules below before submitting your work. Anything which does not meet these rules will not be accepted.
Please submit ALL artwork to the Featured folder in the gallery (not the Favourites folder). Submissions will then be moved to their relevant galleries by admin once they are accepted.
Submission limit is 5 per week per member. Non-members cannot submit. Please note that anything submitted to us must achieve two admin votes.
1 - It must be a piece of visual art.
2 - It must be original work belonging to the Deviant who has claimed a right to it. Photomanipulations are acceptable as long as they are correctly credited, or if it's a demotivational poster for the Humor folder, but we will not accept simple, straight-up screenshots. Funny though they may be!!
3 - It MUST include a depiction of a vampire, and this vampire must either be obviously so, or described as such in the picture's description/comments. If we can see no indication that the image is of a vampire or related to vampire mythos (i.e. Vlad the Impaler) it will not be included.
4 - the aim of this group is to collect high-standard and original works depicting vampires. As such the level of quality should be intermediate and above for all folders, with the exception of humour and cuteness. This folder will be judged more on how amusing or cute the content is, and quality shall be a secondary consideration. From time to time exceptions may be made to accommodate works depicting rare or original subject matter. Intermediate to high means the work must be finished to a good standard in technique and anatomy, with no rule lines, poorly cropped edges, etc.
The group admin is bound to stick to these rules deciding on any artwork submitted, if anyone wishes to challenge a decision they may do so and the reasoning must be explained on both sides in a civilised manner and an understanding reached. The admin must consider these challenges but are in no way obligated to change their ruling.
Fan-HATE will not be tolerated but everyone must be prepared for a little ridicule and jest directed at characters, franchises or specific books/TV/Films. Just keep an open mind and always be respectful to your fellow vampire-lovers!
Please note the Favourites folder will house all art featured in our Affiliate Spotlight in the Vampire Journal.
Finally HAVE FUN!
Relax, and enjoy the very best of vampire art from your fellow deviants the world over.
